PJL Modifications Improve Serviceability for Peak Gold

31 May 2017

The PJL Group Peak Gold maintenance contract has commenced in Cobar with the first two machines nearing completion and modifications carried out to improve serviceability in consultation with the client.

Two loaders from Peak Gold Mine have undergone complete machine refurbishments over the past 12 weeks. Both machines will have extensive testing and QA completed before returning to site.

The next machines coming for midlife refurbishments include a loader and truck which will be completed in our Orange facility and an Integrated Tool Carrier 12 which will be completed in our Cobar facility. These machines are a part of a successful tender for 10 machine rebuilds throughout 2017.

PJL Group has also supplied Peak Gold Mine with a low hour 980K Wheel Loader to replace a 980H Wheel Loader. This machine has had all site compliance completed and was successfully commissioned with no issues by our site account manager Joel Lovekin.
