In a bid to meet strong market demand, PJL Group are one step closer to completing a Signature Series R2900L Loader conversion.
PJL Group Major Projects and Tender Co-ordinator, Dean Jarvis, said the project was under construction in the Orange workshop and was a response to customer driven change.
“They asked for it, we built it,” Dean explained. “The loader gives an Australian based conversion option for our clients.
“We have been making real headway on the project with the timeframe from informal prefeasibility to completed first Signature to stand at approximately 18 months.
“Currently the front frame test has been fitted, the rear frame valve and hose fitout is approximately 80 percent completed, including A/C lines.
“Engine and torque converter, transmission and hydraulic tank are ready for installation.
“The wheel end upgrade parts have arrived and will commence and the cabin fitout has also commenced.
“Watch this space for the completed product. This is an exciting project for PJL Group.
“PJL is planning to offer a service option for its clients that require a new machine fleet.”
