PJL Group's Focus for the Future

21 Oct 2015

Luke Buckland is back at the helm of PJL Group, after taking 12 months to focus on interstate development and growth in key market such as Mt Isa, Perth and Cobar. Business Development Manager, David L’Estrange, stepped up to fill the General Manager role during this time.

“I would like to thank Dave for filling this role for the proceeding financial year. During this time, Dave was able to oversee the growth of the Mt Isa facility, as well as full implementation of our ISO accreditation and the successful negotiating of the Enterprise Agreement among other things.” Luke said.

Over the last 12 months, PJL Group as experienced growth across the departments, with particular regard to client base and interstate facilities. The company has worked hard to establish solid client relationships that are delivering long term pipelines of work with improved systems and procedures in place to achieve the desired outcomes.

“It is now time for the company as a whole to focus on and leverage off our market position in the hard rock underground maintenance industry.

My focus now will be on ensuring that PJL Group optimises all aspects of its operations to enable us to deliver first class results to all our stakeholders.” Luke continued to say.

With the volatility surrounding the industry as prevalent as ever, it is even more important for PJL Group to engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure the company fully understand their needs and meets their expectations.

“We pride ourselves on our “can do” attitude, and I firmly believe it is a trait that will see the company take its next step to increase market share across Australia”

While the industry threats are undeniable, they do also create opportunities for swift thinking and dynamic companies like PJL Group.

“It’s these opportunities that PJL Group will be focussing our attention on over the next 12 months.” Luke concluded.
