PJL Group On The Verge Of Achieving Our NATA Accreditation
11 Sep 2014
We are very proud to announce that we are on the verge of achieving our NATA accreditation.
NATA accreditation provides a means of determining, formally recognising and promoting the competence of facilities to perform specific types of testing, inspection, calibration, and other related activities. Accreditation is distinct from certification, which focuses on an organisation's overall compliance with systems and products standards rather than technical competence.
"This accreditation will confirm that PJL Group's procedures, methods, equipment and personnel comply the highest nationally recognised level possible." NDT & Metallurgy Specialist, Jeremy Cowley said.
NATA accreditation benefits facilities by allowing them to determine whether they are performing their work correctly and to appropriate standards. This also provides them with a benchmark for maintaining that competence. Many facilities operate in isolation to their peers, which otherwise would rarely, if ever, receive any independent technical evaluation as a measure of their performance.
Many clients require a NATA accreditation to perform any work on their facilities/equipment. Having this accreditation will allow PJL Group to submit tenders to the clients such as BHP, Woodside and Rio Tinto.
